Our stay at Best Western Antlers Lodge proved to be a solid, practical choice for a multi-generational trip. The standout feature was the room size and flexibility – having multiple bed options and plenty of space made it easy to accommodate everyone comfortably without feeling cramped, and the moderate price point made it realistic to book two rooms. Add in easy parking and a super convenient location close to town, and it checked a lot of important boxes right away.
From a group perspective, the property itself was quiet, clean, and low-stress, which goes a long way when traveling with different ages and schedules. It felt like a reliable home base where everyone could recharge between outings.
There were a couple of trade-offs. The included breakfast in the lobby got quite crowded, making it less enjoyable during peak times, and the pool area was underwhelming compared to other options in town. That said, with so many great local restaurants nearby and easy access to the hot springs, we didn’t feel like we were missing out.
Overall, this is a great value option for families — comfortable, convenient, and well-suited for multi-generational travel without overcomplicating things.
